Happy 7th Birthday Logan!

Today we celebrate the birth of our son, Logan. Logan you're a sweet boy with a BIG heart! You LOVE animals (you'll probably be a veterinarian one day:)),taking walks, climbing trees, riding your bike (and your dirtbike), to mention a few, and your favorite food is pizza!

He told me today he wants a pet frog for his birthday...I said, "Well where would we put him and are you suuuuuure that's what you would like? Of course he had this all worked out already...Hmmm...I'm still thinking about this one! :)

We've Been Busy!

Wow where do I start...well I'll catch you up. The following pics are from Field Day Of The Past, State Fair, Air and Space Center(a field trip), my birthday,(what a fun evening) Fall Festival, and two pics of when we took Phil and Ethan to the airport...they were off to AZ to visit Phil's parents (Addison was so sad)

Since they've been gone Logan, and Addison have been hangin' out with mama. We went out to eat and Logan said, "It's not the same w/o Ethan here." He and Ad REALLY miss him. I asked Addison, "Where is daddy?...he said, With Ethan!...I replied,Where's Ethan?...with daddy!" So funny...he now says their in, "Arinona!"

Autumn Is Here!!!!!

Happy first day of Fall everyone! This is truly my favorite season...love the coooler temps and all the vibrant colors that nature brings. Not to mention the decorating, baking and scents of pumpkin and cinnamon...mmm...mmm...mmm!

Finally the pics from our vacation!!! We had a wonderful time in Orlando, as a child we traveled to Fl usually once a year. So, I have some fond memories of the great Sunshine state! We spent 11 nights in Fl and had nine full days to plan activities. We stayed most of the time with our old friends, Will and Kristy and their 3 boys in their beautiful 7500 square ft. home. We arrived at their home on Fri. before dinner and she ordered pizza so we ate and chatted while the kids got a chance to get to know one another. One of our biggest highlights took place at midnight...you may have guessed it...the Space Shuttle Discovery launched and we were able to see it from their back yard. So, us five and Will all went outside and watched the amazing sight! This was super neat to the kids. Will said when they come home from their missions you know it, everything shakes!

Saturday we were off to Walt Disney World Epcot...fun, fun, fun! Sunday we went to church with our friends and came back and had a wonderful lunch. Kristy surprised Phil with a birthday cake...and the kids played and played. On Wed. poor Ethan came down with a bad headache and high fever while at Sea World, so, we took him to be seen and decided we had better just pack up and head to a hotel...didn't want to spread our bad germs over to the McBrides. We didn't want to leave ...but that's the way it goes sometimes! :) So, the next two days were low key. By Fri. .a.m Ethan's fever broke...we were very thankful. We had already done Magic Kingdom, Kennedy Space Center, and most of Sea World by then...that was a good thing! We took a drive to Clearwater one day and enjoyed all the palm trees and the white sandy beach, a pretty area.

While at KSC we met an astronaut and took a pic, what a treat! The kids enjoyed a place we went to called Wonderworks...you'll see some photos of that to. I'm now ready to start my Florida scrapbook. But when will I have the time... :o

Back from Florida!

Back home! We arrived home after an 11 day vacation in Orlando, Florida the evening of Labor Day and very ready to get out of the truck. ;) My sweet babysitter Lexi took care of our lil' poodle while we were away. They ALL loved him and wished he could stay longer. But, I don't think the boys or should I say Logan, would go for that!!!LOL! Back to school and the races now begin!!! :)

PNC camp...

Some pics from PNC camp. We had a great time being with family and friends. Wish I had taken more pics! There are more on my fb that some of the big kids took that I tagged...I think we'll be going again next year.

Hope you all are having a great summer. We are starting school around the 24th of this month...can't believe it's here already. We are going on vacation to Orlando, FL at the end of the mo. for a full week. Thought I would get a head start! We are staying with our friends Will and Kristy and their three boys right at the ages of our boys...fun, fun! While there we will be visiting Walt Disney World, Sea World, and forsure Kennedy Space Center...this will be a good learning experience for the kids. I'm so excited and can't wait. I went to these places when I was around 7-8 yrs. old and I loved it...want the boys to visit these places like I did. I think I'll be done with driving trips after this. :D I'll post pics when we return!
